Betting exchange : Term principally used in conjunction with the site Betfair.

Double : A type of combination bet
The odds : Essential term, relating to the returns you will receive on a winning bet.
Lay : Term principally used in conjunction with the site Betfair.
Handicap : A special type of bet.
Livebet / Livebetting : Term used by classic bookmakers such as Bwin or Unibet.
Combination bets : A multiple bet.
Value bet : A system by which bets are placed by determining the reasonable odds.
